My story of love – how I met my Ukrainian wife OlgaSection: Stories My story of love – how I met my Ukrainian wife Olga Hi there! My name is Eric and I’m from Germany. I was 42 when I realized that I want to create a family, have kids and become the happiest man of the world. I was quite a successful (well, I am still quite a successful) businessman, thus, everything I needed to make my life perfect is to meet a woman of my dream. Don’t know why, but I decided to look for a Ukrainian lady – it happens so that I don’t accept the way of living of the German women – they are too emancipated and arrogant. So, I’ve thought of a bride from the Eastern Europe and found the Ukraine dating site. The first girl I met was Irina. Irina was a dream of every man – a tall sexy brunet, 30 years old, never married, no children, prosperous economist, with a hobby of cooking. I fell in love with her at once. She wrote me tender e-mails. We talked in skype for hours – boy, I was sleeping at my work (thanks God, I’m a director and can afford that). It took us 2 months when we realized we should meet. So, I invited her to Germany – we planned our meeting for summer (it was April). She told she needed to prepare the papers, invitation, some embassy stuff. I didn’t pay attention to her behavior when she told me I should send her some money to prepare the papers and visa – so I gave her it. In a month her mother died, so she asked me for some money for the funeral – how could I refuse to help her? I sent her 5000 euro – that was the cost of the funeral there. I insisted to come but she refused explaining that it’s not appropriate and her relatives would not understand her. Well, I agreed. So, summer came and… 2 weeks before our meeting she disappeared. Telephone number blocked, icq and skype – offline. I fought for months to get access to her when I found a blacklist with her name on the Internet. That was a crucial moment then. I stopped trusting any girl – even the German one... In 2 years I had my business in Kiev that resulted in my Kiev marriage. I met my wife Olga in the restaurant. She was sitting at the table next to mine, alone crying. I was a little bit confused and didn’t know what to do – boy, I felt I should help her but something didn’t let me do that. My Ukrainian companion was late and it happened so that when he came he was surprised to see his schoolmate. So we talked, she told about her divorce and all that stuff. We spent some 3 days walking and chatting just as friends. Then we talked in skype for some 5 months – just as friends. In a year I invited her to Germany so that she’ll have a vacation after her hardworking winter – surely, I invited her as a friend. She came and we had a good time together – just as friends. And the last evening before her arrival I proposed to her… We are still friends, besides tender love and mutual passion we seize each others meaning at once. We have twins – boys, Olga is a perfect mother and the best wife ever. Every winter we celebrate New Year in Kiev with her parents. If someone offered me some 5 years ago to get rid me of my sufferings I would never agree. You should feel the pain to value the happiness. So, I wish you the best, loving, careful and tender Ukraine wife you can only dream of! And don’t forget to take care of her! |
